Apex Legends Season 7 Teasers Have Appeared, Hint In New Gravity-Based Character
Seeing as we’re a month from the end of Apex Legends Season 6: Boosted, it Is time for Respawn to Begin hinting at what Is coming from Season 7. So what does all this imply? The voice on the opposite end of this experimentation is likely Season 7’s brand new playable legend–that we eventually get to see in one of the final shots of this new trailer for the Apex Legends Champion Edition. Leaks, rumors, and datamines have pointed to Season 7’s new character being Horizon, a legend who will manipulate gravity with her tech. Even though it hasn’t been confirmed, it’s theorized that her tactical ability is Gravity Rift, which matches with this latest series of teases. Dataminers indicate her passive ability buffs her when she lands from a great height (whether from a fall or jumping her off Rift) and her ultimate ability creates a temporary black hole which drags all nearby targets towards one spot.
Of course, we will not know for sure who the new character is until Season 7 officially starts. Until then, we can only point to these most recent teasers as likely hints to among their newest legend’s abilities. Respawn has done this in the past–for instance, it placed Octane Launch Pads around Kings Canyon ahead of Season 1, featured Revenant’s Death Totem effect in Shadowfall ahead of Season 4, comprised Loba’s Burglar’s Greatest Friend bracelet at a World’s Edge vault before Season 5, and known as Rampart’s Emplaced Minigun”Sheila” with a few graffiti around World’s Edge ahead of Season 6.
After doing all that, you are going to find a new message to match back up in Firing Range. Go there and the voice will give you a keycard to access the gravity lifts scattered throughout Kings Canyon and World’s Edge. They won’t be marked on the map, but fresh challenges under”A Wee Experiment” hint that you can find them in Refinery, Skyhook, Airbase, and Repulsor Station. You will know you have discovered one if you find a little node on the floor connected to a generator like the one hooked up to the screen at Firing Range. Swiping the card triggers the elevator, allowing you to travel vertically up several tales.
Exit into the lobby and you’ll see some new challenges along with your allotment of daily, weekly, and Aftermarket limited-time challenges–those new ones are labeled”A Wee Experiment.” To prove you’re worthy of testing out the cryptic voice’s gravity elevator, you are going to have to deal 10 damage while in midair, get 10 knockdowns, and outlive 120 competitions.
If you now boot the game, you’ll be greeted with a message from a mysterious character, who wants your help to try out some tech. Head to the Firing Range and then find the screen hooked up to a generator. It’s here that the voice will reach out to you again and ask you to run some tests because of her.
When we had to wager a guesswe assume Respawn is timing Season 7 to launch with the release of both the Xbox collection X/S and PS5. No matter this is definitely the most complicated setup to get a brand new season that Respawn has done.
